Instagram is one of the largest social media platforms and is an excellent platform for promoting your event and engaging with your audience. Generally speaking, organisers tease their events, artists and activities on Instagram, but how do you sell tickets through Instagram?
How do I sell tickets through Instagram?
Currently, there is no way to implement your ticket shop through Instagram. However, you can link to your ticket shop in your account’s bio. Keep in mind that you can only link to a single website in a post. If you have multiple shops for different events, you can use a tool such as Linkin.bio or Linktree to link to all of your ticket shops.
An alternative is to use link stickers. Link stickers allow you to add a clickable link to your stories, which you can select from their list of interactive stickers when you’re creating your story.
On Instagram, click on the ‘+’ icon in the top-right corner
Select ‘Story’ from the menu
Create the content you want to use to promote your event
After you’re done setting up the story, tap the sticker icon at the top of your screen
Search for the ‘Link’ sticker and tap on it
Type or paste the URL that you want the sticker to link to
Place your sticker
Share your story
