How to create Appic tickets

Find out how to share your tickets and barcodes with Appic

Appic needs barcodes to make the integration with Eventix tickets possible. Therefore, a few steps need to be taken to set up this process correctly.

Step 1: Create a new ticket

1. Go to your Eventix dashboard

2. Go to the event that you want to create Appic tickets for

3. Go to your tickets within this event

4. Create a new ticket with the name 'APPIC', set the price to €0,- and set the capacity to unlimited*

5. Save this new ticket

*If you have an advanced event, make sure to contact your Customer Success Manager. This is partly to ensure the product is connected to the ticket.

Step 2: Creating barcodes with the guestlist option

1. Go to 'Guestlist' within your Eventix dashboard

2. Click on 'Invite guests'

3. Select the event in which you have created the Appic tickets

4. Select the Appic ticket

5. Enter the amount of barcodes that you would like to receive

6. Within the settings, add the following information:

• Name: APPIC

• Second name: Eventix

• E-mail: info@beappic.com

• Make sure that creating pdf's and sending e-mails is not selected

7. Stay on this screen while the barcodes are being generated

8. Once it's done and the pop-up appears, click on 'Download' to get the Excel file with the barcodes

9. You can now send this file to your contact person at Appic

Step 3: Make an export (optional)

If you click too soon and the pop-up disappears, you can create an export of the Appic tickets instead. To do this, follow these steps:

1. In the dashboard, click on the 'Tools' button on the left side

2. Select 'Exports'

3. Create a new export (top right of your screen)

4. Select the event

5. It's important to select the correct type (which is 'Orders & tickets')

6. Select the type XLSX or CSV

7. Download the export

8. Within the export, choose the ticket name column and then make sure to select only the Appic tickets

9. Select the barcodes of the Appic tickets and put them in another Excel file

10. Send this Excel file to your contact person at Appic
